LPE Series
The LPE220 is the OEM Version of the legacy LDR 189 plate capacity plate hotel. Some of its improvements are the LPE220 increased 220 MTP capacity, its faster access speed and its much higher flexibility for integration. In fact, the LPE220 now allows placement of the plate on one or more transferstations. The plate hotel is now free for other activities while a plate is ready to be picked by the surrounding system. This opens new possibilities for speed optimisations.
LPR Series
The LPR Plate Hotels are designed for under-the-deck integration. Plates are fed through an opening in the deck of the workbench. As the common interface of the incubator and the robotic environment, there may be several transfer stations located around this opening. This arrangement reduces bottle necks in throughput by optimizing required robot travel. For full manual access there is a large user door and removable cassettes (Stackers). The reliable shovel based handling system is used to transport plates by loading them on an extendable surface (shovel). The handling consists of a turntable that holds the removable stackers and a lift mechanism that transports a single plate between any stacker location and the external transfer station. The lift mechanism is located in the center of the turntable and can rotate around its own axis.

LPR44
The LPR44 is the smallest member of the LPR Plate Hotel family. Two stationary cassettes that can easily be removed are located between the lift mechanism. In addition to the z-axis the lift mechanism has a rotation axis (turn movement) that turns the transport shovel facing one of the two cassettes or facing the transfer station. The stationary cassettes with the Star concept allowing the periscope the only moving part, reducing vibration and movement of the samples.
LPR240
The LPR240 will hold up to 242 MTP with 23mm pitch. It is ideal for multiple cassette/sample configurations. The unit sits entirely under the workstation or liquid handler deck. Multiple transfer station can be used to increase production and throughput. The LPR240 is ideal for protein crystallization work because the carrousel can be stationary with the Star concept allowing the periscope the only moving part reducing vibration and movement of the samples. While allowing full remote access on handling you still are able to manually access the cassettes and samples from the front of the instrument.
LPX Series
The LPX series is the standard series of Plate Hotels for table-top applications and covers the range of 44 to 440 MTP plate equivalent. These instruments consist of removable cassettes that hold plates during storage and a stationary lift mechanism to transport a plate from the storage to the transfer station or reverse. It is designed for various tip box feeders.

LPX220
The LPX220 is the successor of the legacy 189 plate capacity MPH (Micro Plate Hotel). Some of LPX220's improvements are an increased 220 MTP capacity, its faster access speed and its much higher flexibility for integration. In fact, the LPX220 can be integrated in four different orientations. Left, right, back and side access is made possible by one single system. The newly developed handling with higher speeds in used in the LPX220. The use of a spring balanced lift mechanism instead of counter weight optimized speed and reliability of the instrument.
LPX440
The LPX440 is optimized for larger capacity applications. The LPX440 offers high capacity while maintaining the same compact footprint of the LPX220. The LPX440 is ideal for high throughput labs with space constraints. For comfortable operation the LPX440 is available in Double Decker configuration having two carrousel decks with tow times ten standard 540mm cassettes resulting 440 MTP capacity. Like the LPX220, the LPX440 can be integrated in four different orientations. Left, right, back and side access is made possible by one single system.

The Liconic -20°C plate stores have a wide capacity range, with capacities ranging from 40 Microtiter Plates (MTP) to more than 12.500. The STX and STR series are based on an industry proven carousel concept whereas the larger stores of the STC series are based on the LiCONiC trolley principle resulting in a high storage density within a small footprint. The Plate Stores can handle all kinds of SBS plate formats. They can easily be integrated into liquid handling workstations for full automated applications.
All LiCONiC Tube Stores are able to handle tubes of all formats. The tube selection devices can be a tube picker for pick & place tubes or a tube boxer for punchable tubes. Tube selection is carried out at storage temperature in a controlled environment. Depending on tube and rack format the Liconic tube stores can hold from 1.000 to 12.500 racks. The stores are expandable so that the capacity can be easily expanded. Small stores are 100% factory manufactured, and are designed for plug & play installation.
The STT1000-Kiwi is a fully automated tube storage and retrieval system with remote sample access capability. The STT1000-Kiwi TubeStore can store over 400'000 384-tubes or over 75'000 500ul-tubes. The new Kiwi TubeStore is designed for use as autonomous entry system as well as for integration in an automated robotic application. Of course LiCONiC's entire climate range is available for this product. The new Kiwi TubeStore comes complete with a very powerful but yet extremely user-friendly software package.
STT 3K0 Kiwi is built to last and is the most robust hardware in the market. LiCONiC's 20 years of engineering experience shows in the creative way to maximize storage capacity, tube sorting, and sample recovery all in one unit. This means the samples never leave one environment for another, which will jeopardize the consistency of compounds. The consequent use of cassettes for sample storage make transferring samples a breeze. The STT3k0 has a batch interface implemented for the first time allowing transferring batches of racks. Of course, cassettes are compatible to LiCONiC's world-wide standard cassettes that are most widely used in existing systems.

LiCONiC has created the perfect Waste Disposal Unit to protect workers and assays from contamination. The WDU can store up to 900 plates and lids, which can be retrieved from the unit for easy and safe disposal. The quick release cassettes can be autoclaved or simply use the quick release handle to deposit plates gently into bio-contamination containers. Its unique design enables the picker to handle all common tube types. Even special tube types can be handled easily. The LiCONiC Tube picker can be equipped with a 1D- or 2D-Barcodereader for Tube identification. Utilising this option complete sample tracking can be implemented.
