Polymerase chain reaction (PCR), is a common method of creating copies of specific fragments of DNA. PCR rapidly amplifies a single DNA molecule into many billions of molecules. In one application of the technology, small samples of DNA, such as those found in a strand of hair at a crime scene, can produce sufficient copies to carry out forensic tests. To eliminate the need for manual labour during routine and laborious tasks that come with DNA amplification, sequencing and genotyping we offer a PCR automated system.
Features
- Collaborative and robust robotic arm.
- Cost effective automation.
- Barcode recovery. When microplate barcode can not be read, the system continues running.
- Ability of adding microplates during the run.
- Walk-away automation that brings peace to your lab.
Features
- Genera integration package with true dynamic scheduling.
- Instrument pooling. If one real-time PCR goes down, the scheduler adjusts itself.
- Microplate ham recovery. When a microplate jams, the system does not fetch the microplate from the corresponding nest.
- Ability to add microplates during a run.
- Can run different experiments for each batch of microplates.
- Dead-lock prevention using look-ahead feature.
- High-end laboratory table with a collaborative robotic arm.
- Camera system for live streaming via the Genera Web App.
- Easy addition of a liquid handler, plate sealer or incubator.
The ELISA, or Enzyme-Linked ImmunoSorbent Assay, is a rapid test where an antibody or antigen is linked to an enzyme as a means of detecting a match between the antibody and antigen. This versatile test is widely used in the medical laboratories. It allows to test the blood with an antigen (e.g. virus or bacteria) to see if the immune system recognizes it as something it has seen before, or test your blood with an antibody to see if a particular substance like a hormone (an antigen) is present in your system. Automating the ELISA process enables detection of thousands of antobodies or antigens each day.

The DNA SNP detection system can be used to screen single nucleotide polymorphisms, frequently called SNPs, which are the most common type of genetic variation among people. They can act as biological markers, helping scientists locate genes that are associated with disease. When SNPs occur within a gene or in a regulatory region near a gene, they may play a direct role in disease by affecting the gene's function. The automated system can also be used to validate and verify the genetic background of animals and vegetables, to detect cloned mutations and to verify mutant allele(s) in a genetically engineered strain.
